Tellerino

Mealime has shut down. Here is an alternative.

Mealime stopped on 21 October 2026. Its team moved on to Meals Hub, which runs inside the store apps of Safeway, Albertsons and other US supermarkets. If you live outside the US, or simply want a planner of your own, Tellerino does the job Mealime did: plan the week, then shop from one list.

What happened to Mealime

Mealime announced that the app is discontinued as of 21 October 2026. Pro subscriptions were wound down beforehand, and all personal data is deleted at the shutdown. The closing notice does not mention an export, so saved plans and favourites are gone. Mealime recipes live on in Meals Hub, which needs an account with one of the Albertsons Companies store apps (closing notice).

What stays the same with Tellerino

The routine you know: pick the meals for the week, then shop from a single list sorted by supermarket aisle. Tap once and Tellerino spreads fitting recipes over the free slots of your week. Tap again and every ingredient is on the grocery list.

What is different

  • Your own recipes come first. Paste a link from a food blog, Instagram or TikTok, or snap a cookbook page, and Tellerino turns it into a recipe with ingredients, amounts and a serving calculator.
  • Built for two or more. Up to 6 people share one plan and one list in real time, on iPhone and Android alike, at no cost.
  • No ads, in the free version too. Meal plan and shopping list stay free for good.
  • Eight languages, so it fits households across Europe as well.

Getting started in five minutes
